meet digital danielle
For as long as I can remember, I’ve been creating—whether it was sketching my childhood tea set on a bright blue Playskool easel or later designing full-blown magazine layouts. My career path has zigzagged through writing, photography, graphic design, and even summer camp programming, but the common thread? A love for bringing ideas to life.
It all started in high school when I landed a gig as a staff writer and photographer at my local newspaper. Thanks to some generous mentors, I discovered the magic of newspaper layout and graphic design, and I’ve been hooked on typography, digital design, and publishing ever since.
While I studied Recreation and Leisure Studies at the University of Georgia (yes, planning fun for a living is a real degree!), I found ways to sneak design into my work—creating logos and marketing materials for my program and sketching concepts for students while working at camps across the U.S. and abroad.
After nearly a decade in the camping industry, I took my love of creativity to The Ritz-Carlton, Reynolds, where I designed group activities, personalized products, and even a digital sales menu to wow corporate clients. Most recently, I stepped fully into the publishing world as the lead designer for a small Georgia-based publishing company, handling everything from weekly newspaper layouts to directing the artistic vision for Lake Oconee Living magazine.
At the end of the day, I’m all about crafting beautiful, functional designs—whether it’s on a newspaper page, a magazine spread, or an interactive digital experience. Let’s make something awesome together!
tell me somethin’ good.
